Wars Of The Heart

When I realized that no other man could do what you did to me.
Both in the way that you moved me, and the way you moved away.
The way my heart now searches for that love.
Looking in the greater depth of despair.
The duress. Late night texts. Very late.
To tell me things especially how we met.

Tables turned many times while at war with each other.
I have tried tirelessly to be friends,
Still the heart wants what it wants.

I’m still in to you,
For all these reasons.
For all the good things that you did,
For all the bad reasons.

Maybe it was all for the best.
Maybe love was a net that was supposed to hold me,
Whether or not I fall.
And I wanted all of me to be with all of you.
Before I lost myself I never thought I’d lose you.
Am still into you,
Yet still I'm into you.
