Down to earth I lie,
As my eyes gaze up the sky,
Searching for the star not to die,
In which I scribbled your name,
'Cause you made me believe the fame,
That the star typifies the game.
Its one of my darkest days you know,
'Cause the star is nowhere to show,
As it's light I know is a missing bow.
I can neither see the moon,
Nor the cast of the sun beyond noon,
You took them all for your boon.
I now see how untrue I was,
As this fright grows worse,
Falling in love with you at once,
Without the awareness or hint,
Of how this love would make me tint,
And hold on to you for this stint.
Yes, I didn't know it,
Though I could feel the beat,
Of love that always brought the sleet.
Your proximity made me crazy,
With my head a little bit hazy,
Its why I hang on the love though its heavy.
Feeling low here I pray,
For you to stop the play,
And come back to me like a ray,
'Cause my heart yearns for your vicinity,
So that we keep this trinity,
Me, you and the Almighty.
