The Disease

If I say I'm alive then I'm a deceiver,
Because there's a disease that has consumed my heart,
The incurable disease that has rendered my chest an empty barrel
If say I'm strong then I'm a liar,
Because there's a disease that has crunched all my bones,
The incurable disease that has swallowed up my strength
If I say I'm healthy then I'm an illusionist,
Because there's a disease that runs in my blood,
The incurable disease that feasts on my cells
If I say I'm not crazy then I'm unsound mind,
Because there's a disease that has invaded my head,
The incurable disease that has rendered my mind thoughtless
If I say I can see then she's the only one,
Because she's a disease that lives in my eyes,
The incurable disease that has concealed my entire vision
If I say I'm mortal then I'm almost gone,
Because she's a disease that drives me lifeless,
The incurable disease that has left me drifting away
If I say I'm dead I'm a deceiver,
Because there's a part of me that lives,
A part of me that knows the medicine,
The only antidote that can take away the disease
She's the antidote, and the disease that runs all over my body
