My Wife Is Pregnant
My wife is pregnant,
Its her second kid,
The first is ours,
This is half mine,
Well, before you judge,
Listen to me.
This is my wife,
By love and by law,
Took her from her mother's arms,
With color and glamour she deserves,
She cried,
A mix of sad goodbyes,
And happy anxiety of marriage,
We lived for a year,
And got our first son,
We named him Mark.
Then I got ill for a week,
Spent the time in light blue rooms,
The doctors had a choice,
Either my life,
Or my seed,
I chose the former,
And they did away with the latter,
So I couldn't sire more,
But love my son more,
Our son.
A year later,
My wife is heavy with child,
Yes,
I am guilty I kept this from her,
I was afraid to poison my ego,
I was afraid she would see me less of a man,
Now it's worse telling her now,
I know she slept outside,
It pains me,
Still I want another kid,
It baffles me,
Still if I tell her now,
Our marriage may sway,
It worries me what our son will think,
So my head is an arena of confusion,
I need help
