Mama Love

Mama I love you,
From the day that you had me in your womb,
I knew from that day you are true,
For everything you have been through,
To cater for us too.

You are one of a kind,
What I think of you blows my mind,
You are intelligent and magnificent,
Mama you taught me well,
From the cradle up,
Till when I sat,
To say at last,
That am glad you chose to conceive me.

It is so hard to believe,
That time flies so fast,
We have grown big and strong,
Having you there all along,
That is a blessing that never goes wrong,
Now we are laughing like it were yesterday,
Remembering all the words we used to say.

You are my rock,
From the time I could talk,
Am grateful for the sacrifice,
The sleepless nights,
The days I could cry endless,
It was leaving you breathless.

You have always held your crown,
Claimed your own,
With strength and zeal,
Claim all that appeal.

Our bond will never fade,
I respect you and honour you,
You are the flower of life,
The beauty to behold,
The very essence of existence,
The start of humanity,
With all gratuity,
Thank you.
