It all started with a kiss
A kiss was also how it ended
It ended on a sad note
A sad note indeed it was
It was a bitter end to something sweet

Something sweet wasn't allowed to bloom
To bloom it couldn't because of the difference
The difference financially was quite huge
Quite huge she had to end it
End it was the only option
Only option for him was to accept
To accept she wasn't for him
For him she was the lady of his dreams
His dreams were flowers to which she was a bee

A bee who cut him down by her words
