Hopeful Regrets

She has lived and died,
Hoping to put all these aside,
All they wanted to do was to move on.

The unborn baby being the result
The heat of the moment took away their innocence,
That very day that she gave herself away.

And now the aftermath was this child
Which now all has gone wild,
To do their best to make things right
To this one to hold on tight.

What will then be of them in the future
How will they nurture
Being school dropouts,
With no form of education,
None to be an example to their offspring,
Still they had hope on their eyes,
To fight till the end,
Having each other was all that mattered,
It was time to make their own decisions,
Impact or rescissions.

And to make it easy,
Taking care of her; Daisy
Seems like a hard task,
Too much of  a lessson to ask,
The doors shut in their face,
Feeling regret and hate,
Reality check they had to taste.
