Here Comes A Time

A time comes, when we shall not travel in any machine,
Yet, we shall reach our destinations in matter of seconds
A time comes, when we shall not look for criminals in their hideouts,
They will lead us to themselves
A time comes, when we shall not go to schools to learn,
We shall have our homes to learn from
A time comes, when we shall not visit the stores to do shopping,
Shopping will replenish themselves
A time comes, when we shall not take our cars to the garage,
They will leave the parking lot themselves, to visit the garage at their own self-appointed time
A time comes, when we shall not employ guards by day or by night to watch over our premises,
Yet, our premises will be the most secured of all time
A time comes, when we shall not take our solders to war,
Yet, we shall put forth the best fight ever witnessed
A time comes, when we shall not line up at the hospitals for diagnosis,
Yet, we shall have the best diagnosis and treatment process
That time is so close.

When that time comes,
And not if, when it does,
That generation will laugh at our airplanes, which we hail as the fastest means of transport
They will so laugh, that we employed guards to watch over our premises as we sleep inside the houses
They will so laugh, that we took human soldiers to die in the battle field without care to their families
They will so laugh, that we lined up at the hospitals and waited for hours for diagnosis and treatment
They will so laugh, that we lined up at the cashiers at the shopping stores waiting to pay for our purchases
They will so laugh, that we went to the garage and spent hours waiting for the mechanic to tell us what was wrong with our cars
They will so laugh, that we took days or months or years tracing most wanted criminals
They will so laugh, that we went to schools and sat in a class of forty students taught by a single teacher standing at the front
That time must surely come.

If you doubt it, ask the stone age period
If you doubt it, ask the agrarian revolution
If you doubt it, ask the industrial revolution
If you doubt it, pray to live to see that time arriving
If you doubt it, kneel down and pray God for faith
For a time comes when the first will be the first, if they want to
And the last will be the last, because they have to
For that time comes!
