Dear Wedding dancer

When they rock stilettoes
You shine in flats
On the wrist bangles
To the palm a handkerchief
Dear wedding dancer.

Energy in muscle
Moves internal
Like it's eternal
You step up to the beat
Sharing the heat
You're a wedding dancer

If all that goes round
Cometh all back
I pray to see you around
Not dancing in rounds
But gracing the ground
In a gown, so proud
Let another do the dancing
A new wedding dancer.

When you say you do
And he does the same
When the beat kicks in
Remember to smile
When they set foot on floor
To grace the day by moves
Dear wedding dancer.
