Dark Is Not Crime

It's about how you live
Not how you were born
Its about who you are
Not what you resemble
The skin color you have on
Is not a prisoners identity

*Dear little sister*
*It's not a crime to be dark*

There's only one way
To make beauty come your way
Give me an ear don't look away
"Hint sio kutoa tint"

*Dear sister*
*Dear little sister*
*It's not a crime to be dark*

For they see you as black
Whenever you try to be them
Stand proud of who you are
You have powers to shake the world
Being a child of a slave
Doesn't make you a slave
Stand proud in your skin
Beauty is right within you.
