Better Than Ever
I couldn't take my eyes of you,
All I ever wanted was you,
All your flaws, perfections,
All I wanted was you to look at me,
Like am your kind of perfect,
All I wanted was you to love me,
Just as much as I do.
You took my world away,
You moulded it perfectly and merged it with yours,
You made me happy,
My smile was the brightest,
Just like the summer sun,
No one ever made me that happy,
My nights though colder were always filled with warm thoughts of you,
Your perfect eyes that always got me in a trance,
The little things you did like hold my hand,
Had my body in a frenzy,
And when you told me I was all you needed,
Inside my dark body,
A million stars were born,
Forming a galaxy in my heart,
I'd always wonder how something so subtle,
Made my world spin around, comets sizzling,
You being my sun.
I gave you my all,
But I guess it was too much for you,
Why would you complicate our little perfect world?
Why would you let insecurities get the better of you?
Was I not enough for you?
I can never understand what happened,
I just wanted you to make me understand,
But you never explained anything,
The kind of pain I felt were like a thousand knives plunged into my heart a thousand times,
You hurt me really bad,
I thought I'd never get over that,
But I've learned to let go,
I learnt to be happy without you,
I created my own world again,
I built my empire,
And I promise you,
You'll watch me make happy memories.
If I were to have had any guy I'd still have chose you,
But now you are just a part of my past,
Memories faded everyday,
My heart healed... Though with scars.. It's just a reminder of the mistakes I've made in life..
