Allegience Is Dead
As I walk back home,
My heart is heavy and burdened,
I reach out to wipe the stray tears,
rolling continuously down my cheeks.
The weight of the envelop getting more,
my mind urging me to open it.
Hoping to get answers,
I open the envelop,
But the contents gets me
even more confused.
How could Seth do this?
After all the promises
and time spent together,
How could he marry another?
That was supposed to me,
He even had the audacity to invite me!
After tossing endlessly,
I finally fell asleep,
But morning came and
all the pain,fear and anguish
locked away came crashing on me tenfold.
Maybe if Seth knew about
My surprise,
He would stop the wedding right?
With new and determined spirit,
I headed to Seth's house,
Nearing his house I could
feel my heart racing,
I braced my myself and
knocked on his door,
Seth stood there looking at me.
Staight to the point,
Seth,"I'm pregnant."
